Description:
An autonomous role overseeing web implementation, future proofing and overseeing the e-marketing, E-commerce, SEO, site specification, logic, design, usability, customer service, back office and customer facing processes and procedures. Responsible for development of three web portals. Daily project management, site analysis, price fixing, user experience, content planning and site statistic reporting, update and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing
Responsible for HTML sales newsletter creation and dissemination using a third party AP bulk email solution
on-line micro site and landingpage creation and set-up and maintenance of customer information
Regularly reported and evaluated of on and off-line B2B and B2C marketing opportunities
Ownership of the company's SEO direction in-house and with a 3rd party agency
Forward planning web copy and content including product reviews
Ownership of on-line commercials and customer incentives
Customer and 3rd party agency liaison
Sole responsibility for initiating and planning Google PPC keyword strategies, maintenance and advertisement prominence
Managed internal department liaison to formulate competitive pricing strategies and streamlined departmental communications and workflow
Initiated low level viral and on-line banner marketing activities
Comfortable managing project direction cross culturally with international web design teams
Email and direct response campaigns; fielded general and specialist inquiries to consumer inquiries
Managed email data integrity, update and cleansing pre and post campaign
Analyzed mapped, formulated and improved existing business and on site B2B & B2C marcoms
Technical
Oversaw subsequent day to day communication and project management with internal and external suppliers
Sole responsibility for CMS update, design and HTML coding
Head of OS Commerce and HTML Web-site testing and trouble shooting of phased web implementations
Analyzed Web-site statistics and developed on-site amendments to improve customer information or on-site journey.
Achievements
Implemented a mobile accessory campaigns - setting up micro sites capturing data and
creating mini portals to extend natural SEO
Proposed and instituted an independent database to automate pricing updates
to increase site update time 400 percent data, lowering site exposure
Increased institutional site traffic 140 per cent within three months
